Fees and payout rates currently in force and subject to change over time, are:
- Cost of a virtual whippet dog (creation): free (5 whippet dogs given for free every month to all kennels).
- Cost of a vitual greyhound dog (creation): 300 DOGZ. Of this amount Dogracer keeps only 200 DOGZ to cover the running costs of the site. The remaining 180 DOGZ are re-injected into the site for the benefit of the players: 90 DOGZ are put into the Hall of Fame prize pool, 60 DOGZ are put into the “Golden Race” prize pool and 30 DOGZ are given to the Royal Cup.
- Race winnings: Return to Player percentage is 95% (a 95% share of entry fees is redistributed to kennel owners of the three first dogs to cross the finish line).
- Pool betting: Return to Player percentage is 95%.
- Commission on sales of greyhounds to other players: 10% (whippet dogs cannot be sold).
- current conversion rate for DOGZ: 100 DOGZ = £1,0 = €1,25.
